Firefighters Hall & Museum Mission
To promote and preserve the history, education, and heroic stories of Minnesota Fire Service.
We strive to educate our community on fire safety.
Our organization aims to preserve the artifacts and equipment that is important to fire service history.
We capture the heroic fire stories that impact our Minnesota community.
Firefighters Hall & Museum Vision
We envision a community that is awed by fire science, curious about fire history, and inspired by the courageous chronicles of firefighters.
COVID-19 SAFETY UPDATE
While our museum and event center are currently closed in the interest of public health, our dedicated staff of volunteers are preparing to re-open when allowed so that we may continue to tell the stories of the bravest.
Minnesota Firefighters are on the front line every day, but they face unprecedented challenges during these trying times. We need your help to be able to continue to share the trials and challenges that these courageous men and women face.
We are asking for your help to continue our mission of supporting the history of our Minnesota firefighters and educating the public on safety. We anticipate that things may not return to “normal” for us for up to 18 months. Without our gate admissions and events to sustain us … we are in dire need of your support.
Your gift right now will ensure our staff and volunteers can continue to serve the community as we have for the past 16 years.
Together, even as our lives feel so unsettled, we can continue to make sure that our front-line firefighters are not forgotten.
We look forward to sharing our new offerings and education in Spring 2021.
This hidden treasure Museum will excite the fire buff and enthusiast in all of us.
